There is a very good reason that the Devils Peak Brewery won a bronze award at the Loerie Awards this year. Their label illustration is amazing, they took it beyond just making some really great craft beer and made the visual appeal really stand out. Absolutely stunning!
Devils Peak Brewery gets a Loerie for their label design. As well they should! #loeries2012

I had tried a couple of their beers but last weekend I got a swig of their Silver Tree Saison Ale, and I would like to now welcome it into my “beers I would sacrifice family members for” category. Just such a full, crisp beer with that really nice fruity aroma that you find yourself sniffing on more frequently than actually drinking it. Very good and I would encourage anyone that is into a good ale to try it out. Reasonably priced and you can find it around most craft beer stocking bars, if not now, I would hope in the very near future.
Also got to give the guys at Devils Peak some kudos for taking some initiative and seeing an opportunity when it arises. Check out the below conversation I had with them shortly after nursing my second Silvertree home on Sunday night.
Like what they did there, and they have got Rosslee and I out for some exercise which many would endorse in any case. So, you can probably expect me rambling on about how awesome they are for sending us their illustration some time next week along with a pitcure of two sweaty blokes at the Blockhouse. In the mean time have a cracking weekend, and if anyone tries out any particularly good craft beers I am all ears.
